US Navy M1926 Life Preserver
This was the standard issue life preserver to all army personnel involved in the amphibious landings.
Two CO2 cylinders are housed in the tubes next to the buckle; they allowed the preserver to inflate quickly.
The preserver was also fitted with two rubber tubes with one way valves for manual inflation.
